1. Taylor co-wrote her Top 10 debut single, “Tim McGraw.” The touching song about young love has sold more than 500,000 digital downloads and is certified gold.
2. Taylor’s self-titled first album debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart selling almost 40,000 copies in its first week of release in late October. The collection continues to sell at a brisk pace already being certified gold it is nearing platinum status. Taylor wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on the album.
3. Taylor was chosen by Country Music Hall of Fame member George Strait to open his 2007 tour which kicked off January 11 in Louisiana. Superstars Rascal Flatts tapped her to open their recently completed “Me and My Gang” tour. She is now on tour with Brad Paisley and will be thru November.
4. Taylor was selected by country radio for the “New Faces – Class of 2007”.
5. Taylor was named one of AOL’s 20 Best New Artists of the Year.
